This 110-minute abridged production presents Shakespeare’s text through carefully selected key scenes, supported by clear narrative transitions in contemporary English. Students do not need prior knowledge of the play. By the end of the performance, they will have a strong grasp of the story, characters, conflicts, and central themes—an approach that has consistently been praised by teachers as both engaging and pedagogically effective.
This play has long been part of the English Literature syllabus. When we last staged it in 2016, many SMKs in the Klang Valley and Penang attended, and teachers shared that students found the experience engaging, enjoyable, and helpful for understanding the text.
